SanDisk makes a few different versions of its Extreme Portable SSD, with the Extreme PRO falling at the top of the line. It offers up to 2000 MB/s of read and write speeds, which is a good deal faster than the version below. For photographers and videographers needing the fastest possible speeds from a hard drive, this is the way to go. And it still offers IP55 water and dust resistance and is protected against falls of 6.5 feet. The Lightning Deal is going fast, though, so don’t wait if you are considering it.

This is the sweet spot in the lineup, and it is the cheapest price I have ever seen on this particular model. You get a full 2TB of storage, which is plenty for most projects. It offers 1050MB/s read and up to 1000MB/s write speeds over a USB-C connection.
