The Instamatic

Kodak’s Instamatic series of cameras were simple point-and-shoot devices that became hugely popular. The first Instamatic to go on sale in 1963 was USD 16, and between then and 1970, 50 million units of the cameras were produced. It was the first to carry Kodak’s 126 format.
