We like to throw in a every now and then! sounds dead easy, doesn’t it, and really it can be – here’s a piece of paper, here’s my photograph of it. But to make a photograph of ‘paper’ interesting, you really do need to go that extra mile. You need to about the following things to add interest to your photograph.

  • Lighting (Doesn’t need to be expensive)
  • Angles and shapes
  • Edges and leading lines

Lots of options and things there to get you started! There are some examples on the interwebs of what people have made with paper, photos of those are everywhere (Here’s a link, please note the results looked family friendly to me, but it IS a Google search… so)

Here’s beautifully example from Brandi Redd on Unsplash – Simple and shadow makes this image interesting!

Let’s see what you come with! Share your images in the comments section at the bottom of this post, or over in our private Facebook group!
